This year's Hajj (pilgrimage) delegation to the Holy Lands has been selected from amongst the staffers of the Omdurman National Bank in continuation of the social programme that the hank has been implementing with the view to provide such opportunity for the workers to perform the Hajj. The Bank covers all the expenses, including financial and administrative one, relevant to the delegation travel, stay and return from the Muslim Holy lands. Upon inauguration of the Tower of the General Administration for Armed Force Pensioners, the President of the Republic instructs that banking services be available for pensioned persons via the various branches of the banks in allover the country :
Field Marshal Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir, the President of the Republic and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has called for the generalization of the easy terms banking services to cover all pensioned officers, commissioned officers and privates from the Armed Forces and that this services should be spread in all the branches of the banks in the various states of the country.
He said the services should be similar to services provided by the branches of the Omdurman National Banks, the Industrial Development Bank, The Savings and Social Development Bank which he inaugurated at the tower in Khartoum during the celebrations marking the 55th anniversary of the Armed Forces.
